The Story of Calen and Lhun: Adventure and magic on the waterfront

Meet the two special residents of the peninsula! 

Calen, the friendly forest gnome, lives by the shores of Lake Balaton and greets children every day with new games, exciting challenges and sporty adventures. 

Lhun, the magical water fairy, is the keeper of creativity and enchantment. She brings colour, shared creativity and a vivid imagination to the Children’s World programmes. Together, Calen and Lhun’s mission is to turn motion, play and creativity into lifelong memories for every young guest.

Children’s World – activities from morning till evening

You won’t have a dull moment! We offer activity programmes all day for children and teenagers alike. Morning exercises, craft workshops, skill challenges, water games and the popular token-collecting quest fill the day, all topped off in the evening by our lively mini disco. Some programmes are designed to include parents so you can enjoy the fun together.

Private beach and children’s pool

The mature trees on our 500-metre private beach provide lovely natural shade, so even the smallest children can play safely. The beach features a  kids’ pool with a slide, a modern playground with 14 play features, and exciting water games. Relax on comfortable sun loungers or under the elegant four-poster canopy beds while keeping an eye on the little ones.

Kids Club – the safe indoor playhouse

When you fancy some indoor fun, our Kids Club playhouse is open during set hours. A story corner, craft tables and plenty of board games await children in a friendly and secure environment.
Opening hours: 9:00-12:00 and 13:00-18:00

Baby-friendly services: carefree holidays with tiny tots

We know travelling with a baby requires a lot of planning, so we take the stress out of it for you. The Club Tihany Resort pays special attention to the needs of its youngest guests. Upon request, we prepare baby-friendly equipment (cot, baby bath, high chair, etc.) in your room so you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Child supervision and evening relaxation

Want to spend a peaceful hour in the wellness area or have a romantic dinner for two? Our trained activity leaders and child supervisors watch over children aged 3 and over during the sessions. The evening mini disco ensures little ones end the day happily tired and with a head full of wonderful memories.

Sports and water sports

Active fun on the beach

If you are a sports lover, you can enjoy a grass football pitch, beach volleyball, streetball and football tennis. Don’t miss out on our thrilling 60-metre waterslide either! For more serious one-on-one competition, the Club Sports and Conference Centre offers tennis, squash, padel and mini-golf.

Watersports in the heart of Lake Balaton

At our Watersports Centre, you can hire sailing boats, pedal boats, surfboards, SUP boards and kayaks. Are you an absolute beginner? No problem! Our qualified instructors help both children and adults learn the basics safely so you can all enjoy the water with confidence.
