1. Preliminary reservations are governed by the rules of the Civil Code.

  2. Reception is not obliged to accept any claim to extend a stay unless previously agreed. Guests will be informed of any decision by 10:00 AM on the day in question.

  3. Guests may use the services offered by Club Tihany Resort in line with the current relevant regulations. Persons not registered as guests are not permitted to stay at Club Tihany Resort. Payment for services may be requested prior to commencement of the stay.

  4. The accommodation price of a bungalow or hotel room includes a stay in the room between 4:00 pm until 10:00 am on the following day. Please notify the reception of your intention to leave before 10:00 AM. Should you fail to do so or not leave your room or bungalow before 10:00 am, we may charge you for an extra night. In the event of a longer stay, reception is entitled to ask for payment every 3rd day.

  5. Guests are required to use the room and the bungalow appropriately and use the electrical appliances belonging to the Club Tihany Resort (with the exception of electric razors).

  6. Do not keep flammable material or waste, and do not make a fire in your room (do not smoke in bed, do not throw away burning cigarettes or matches, etc.).

  7. In case of fire, please leave your room immediately and follow the shortest escape route indicated. Do not use the elevator in the event of fire.

  8. Guests shall be obliged to pay compensation for any damage resulting from inappropriate use, negligence or purposefulness.

  9. For the settlement of the account and for related compensation claims, Club Tihany Resort Zrt is entitled to a statutory lien and right of retention against the Guest.

  10. Please maintain order and keep the noise down at Club Tihany Resort, especially at night and in the early morning.

  11. Our hotel is a completely NO SMOKING HOTEL (rooms and their balconies included). Please smoke only in the designated places. Please put cigarette stubs in the ashtrays provided.

  12. Use air conditioning only with doors and windows closed or we will be required to shut it off.

  13. Do not take the furniture outdoors as exposure to sun and rain can damage it.

  14. Put litter in the litter bin please. There are special dumpsters for plastic and glass bottles at varios locations around Club Tihany Resort, please use them. Although there will be a cleaning service upon your departure, please leave the rooms and bungalows in order, especially the kitchen. Please also close the windows and doors.

  15. If you have pets with you, they must be registered at reception and you can also request cleaning services and agree on the time of the cleaning. Your pets are welcome in the bungalow area and in the pet friendly hotel rooms. Taking them to other areas (beach and restaurants, for example) is prohibited in the interests of mainating public health. Please keep your dog on leash around the site.

  16. Guests may receive visitors with the knowledge and preliminary approval of reception staff.

  17. Please leave your keys at reception upon final departure. Compensation shall be charged for lost room cards. Room cards are valid from the time of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure.

  18. The hotel is responsible for damages caused by the loss, destruction or damage to the guest’s properties, except for cases where the damage has been caused by unavoidable factors beyond the control of the staff and guests of the hotel, or by the guests themselves. The hotel assumes responsibility for damage to property laft at locations designated for or generally used for this purpose, or that have been handed over to an employee of the hotel authorised to take possesion of such property. The parking lot is not a guarded area, so the hotel does not assume responsibility for buses, passenger cars of properties left therein.

  19. The hotel is only liable for valuables, securities, and cash if it has taken possession of them for safekeeping or has refused to accept them for safekeeping.

  20. We kindly request our guests to immediately inform the management or the reception desk of any comments, complaints, or issues they may have.
